I sign in with Apple — how does that affect my account?

If you created your Touch of Modern account using “Sign in with Apple,” your login is managed through your Apple ID credentials rather than a standard password.


This means a few details work differently compared to regular email logins.


About your Apple login and email

When you sign in with Apple, you can choose whether to:

  • Share your real email address, or

  • Hide your email using Apple’s private relay service (it looks like xyz123@privaterelay.appleid.com).

If you selected the private relay option, all Touch of Modern emails — including order confirmations, tracking updates, and account notifications — are still delivered to your real inbox, just routed through Apple’s private address.

If you aren’t seeing these emails:

  • Check your spam or junk folders.

  • Search for “Touch of Modern” or “@privaterelay.appleid.com” in your mailbox.

  • Ensure that forwarding from Apple’s relay service hasn’t been disabled in your Apple ID settings.


Password resets and login help

Since your account is tied to your Apple ID, password resets must be managed directly through Apple.
Touch of Modern does not store or have access to your Apple login credentials.

If you need to reset your password:

  1. Go to your Apple ID account page at appleid.apple.com.

  2. Follow Apple’s instructions to reset your password or update your login credentials.

  3. Once updated, you can continue accessing your Touch of Modern account using the same Apple sign-in method.


Tip: If you ever decide to switch from Apple login to a standard email login, contact support@touchofmodern.com.
We’ll verify your identity and help convert your account to a regular Touch of Modern login so you can use a standard email and password instead.
