If you need to change the payment method on an order that has already been placed, we can help under specific circumstances.
While we’re unable to edit or replace the billing address tied to your saved payment method, we can assist with updating the payment method itself—provided it’s one that’s already saved in your Touch of Modern account.
Here’s how it works:
Contact support@touchofmodern.com with your order number and let us know which saved payment method in your account you’d like us to charge instead. For example, the credit/debit card provider with only the last four digits of the card. Note: We cannot change the payment method to PayPal, Sezzle, or Affirm.
We’ll refund the original charge and reprocess the order using the new payment method you specify.
If the new charge cannot be successfully processed, your order will be suspended until a valid payment method is available.
You can add or remove saved payment methods anytime by logging in and going to:
My Account → Payment Methods
Once you’ve saved a new method, let us know so we can apply it to your pending order.
Important: For your security, please do not email credit or debit card details directly to us. Email is not a secure channel for transmitting payment information, and our system will automatically delete any message containing sensitive data to protect you from potential fraud.
If we don’t receive a response or valid payment method update in a timely manner, we may need to cancel the order to prevent further delay with our supplier and prevent delays for other customers who purchased product from the same sale.
