Store credit expiration, usage limits, and restrictions

Store credit issued by Touch of Modern does not expire under normal circumstances and can be used anytime toward eligible purchases.

However, certain types of credits — such as promotional, courtesy, or claim-based credits — may have default expiration timelines based on the nature of the adjustment.

Here’s what to keep in mind:

  • Store credit cannot be transferred between accounts.

  • Store credit cannot be exchanged for cash or applied to tax, shipping, duties, or alcohol purchases.

  • Store credit is account-specific and tied to the email address used when placing your order.

Expiration policy

  • Most store credit remains active indefinitely.

  • Credits issued as part of a claim or courtesy adjustment (for example, a credit applied for a delayed, damaged, or incorrect order) are typically valid for up to 3 years from the issue date.

  • If your store credit has expired or is no longer visible in your account, you can contact support@touchofmodern.com to request a review. Our team can often reactivate eligible credit on a case-by-case basis where appropriate.

If you ever notice a discrepancy or missing balance, reach out with your order number or refund confirmation so our team can verify and adjust your credit as needed.

Tip: You’ll always see your current credit balance under Account Settings → Store Credit, and it will automatically appear at checkout whenever it’s available to apply.
